Report: an Industrial visit to ‘NETWORK BULLS’ on October 03, 2018
Training & Placement Cell of KIIT, Gurugram organized an Industrial visit on 3rd October 2018, for B.Tech 2nd Year to NETWORK BULLS, Gurugram. The Network Bulls, a pioneer in the networking training industry believes in imparting high-end technological training which helps students in gaining practical exposure via Real Cisco Devices and live Equipments promoting innovative ideas leading to elevated professional growth.
All participants reached there at 10:40 AM and were welcomed by Ms. Rajshree, the visit coordinator. The group then attended a teaching session conducted by Mr.Siddharth Tiwari, a training professor in Network Bulls. Starting with the basics, Mr. Siddharth Tiwari went on to elaborate on the classes of IP addresses, types of network addresses and their allocation through DHCP and Manually.
After a little break, the students were explained about the various Routing protocols like RIP, OSPF, EIGRP. He also demonstrated the designing of a small network (configured with EIGRP routing protocol, DHCP and DNS server) of different cities and countries through simulator used to implement network layouts. Students were taken to labs to be familiar with the real network environment & understand the working of network devices.
I am sure that the knowledge gained by the students will enhance their employability. The theory & Practical sessions were very informative. The students thoroughly enjoyed the teaching & were seen to have a keen interest developed in the networking area.
